Venue Access

in

Due to a centralised location, Brickvention 2011 is accessible in a variety of ways:

Car:

There are a number of nearby car parking options for the Melbourne Town Hall.  There is great variation in the pricing. We recommend parking at the Federation Square car park for ease of access and value for money.  There are also car parks at Melbourne Central, the QV building, and Flindersgate on Flinders Street.  Street parking is available but is very limited. Please refer to our FAQ for further parking details.

In addition, for those bringing in large MOCs, etc. there will be access to a loading bay or temporary parking on Collins Street near the venue. Both areas are time-limited due to the large number of people displaying/delivering items. Contact the coordinator to provide car registration details and book a time for loading bay/parking spot access.

Train:

All suburban trains stop at Flinders St station. If you leave this station by the Swanston St entrance (via stairs/escalators) you can either walk (2 blocks), or catch one of the regular trams up Swanston St.

Country trains stop at Southern Cross (formerly Spencer St), and you can catch a tram down Collins St.

Tram:

The following trams travel along Collins St:

11, 12, 31, 42, 109

The following trams travel along Swanston St:

1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 16, 64, 67, 72

It is also accessible via the City Circle tram (stop at Federation Square) and the Melbourne City Tourist Shuttle (stop 2, Federation Square)
